Seminar: prevention of early pregnancy and accompaniment of mothers minor

From November 22-26, 2016, ACISJF Africa organized  a Seminar on the Prevention of early Pregnancy and Accompaniment of Child Mothers. The Seminar was conducted by EVA (Education for Life and Love) and took place in Mayanga, Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.

Un grandito e inatteso ritrovamento

Cento anni fa il Beato Piergiorgio Frassati scriveva ad un'amica chiedendole un aiuto economico per evitare la chiusura dell'allora Protezione della Giovane in Olanda, mentre lui si impegnava ad evitare che ciò accadesse in Aaustria.

Questa lettera è un vero e grande dono per noi tutti e per tutte le ACISJF-Protezione della Giovane, un dono per il quale ringraziamo davvero di Cuore la carissima Wanda Gawronska Nipote del Beato Piergiogio Frassati; è un dono che chiede a noi tutte e tutti un maggiore impegrno anche per la diffusione dell'ACISJF - Protezione della Giovane nella nostre Europa.

Un grande responsabilità per cui, nella preghiera, chiediamo l'aiuto ed il sostegno del Beato Piergiorgio Frassati.

Da due giorni ho ricevuto una lettera dal mio buon amico signor Domanig, che è il rappressentante degli studenti Austriaci in Pax Romana.

In questa lettera si lamenta della urgente necessità e della miseria che c'è in Austria. l'Unione di Carité Cattolica (fondata dal Cancelliere Seipel quattro anni fa) forma la protezione della Giovane.

Questa Associazione sta per essere sciolta perchè mancano i mezzi necessari. Oggi ci sono a Vienna molti bimbi e molte lavoratrici senza tetto che sono lasciati in preda alla fame e alla miseria.

Il mio amico mi prega di soccorrerli con una colletta.

Nello spirito di Pax Romana ho pensato che lei potrà fare la medesima cosa in Olanda.

Conosco lei ed il suo buon cuore e sono certo che lo farà con gioia.

La prego di rispondermi subito e poi manderò al signor Domanig il sui recapito e il mio amico si metterà direttamente in comunicazione espistolare con lei.

On the occasion of the 9th World Day of Poverty, ACISJF Italy presented the book “Maria che scende dal treno” (Mary getting off the train).

This book pays tribute to the commitment of ACISJF, which for over a hundred years has been supporting and accompanying women in their life journey, education, and emancipation.

It should be noted that the president of ACISJF International, Bertha Diaz Infante, participated in the three days of ACISJF Italy in Rome from November 14-16, 2025.

 The schedule was packed, starting with the presentation of the book at the Palazzo Lateranense—attended by Cardinal Reina, Monsignor Manto, national ecclesiastical assistant, civil authorities, and author Mirella Taranto—and ending with the Jubilee of Poverty in St. Peter's Square with the Holy Father on Sunday, November 16.

The book presentation opened 13 suitcases of hope presented by the various houses of ACISJF Italy.

A superb visit was organized during these three days by ACISJF Italy, including Santa Maria Maggiore, the tomb of Pope Francis, the Passagio delle Porta Sante, Sant'Giovanni in Laterano, and the Scala Santa, to experience the Jubilee of Poverty with the Pope.

In summary, the president thanked ACISJF Italy for the organization and all the good times spent together during these three days.
