 A l'occasion de la 9ème journée mondiale de la pauvreté, ACISJF Italie a  présenté le livre "Maria che scende dal treno".

 
Ce livre rend hommage à l'engagement d'ACISJF qui, depuis plus de cent ans, soutien et accompagne les femmes dans leur parcours de vie, de formation et d'émancipation.
 
Il est à noter que la présidente de ACISJF International, Bertha Diaz Infante, a participé aux 3 journées de ACISJF Italie à Rome du 14-16 novembre 2025.

Le calendrier était bien rempli, en partant de la présentation du livre au Palazzo Lateranense - avec la présence du Cardinale Reina, de Monseigneur Manto, assistant ecclesiastique national, des autorités civils et de l'autrice Mirella Taranto, jusqu'au jubilé de la pauvreté à la Plazza San Pietro avec le Saint-Père, le dimanche 16 novembre.

La présentation du livre, a ouvert 13 valises d'espérance présentées par les différentes maisons de ACISJF Italie.
 
Une superbe visite a été organisée durant ces 3 jours par ACISJF Italie, soit Santa Maria Maggiore, la tombe du pape Francesco, il passagio delle Porta Sante, Sant'Giovanni in Laterano et la Scala Santa, pour vivre le jubilé de la pauvreté avec le Pape.
 
En résumé, la présidente remercie ACISJF Italie pour l'organisation et tous les bons moments passés ensemble durant ces 3 jours.

Pour célébrer cette occasion spéciale, plusieurs générations de femmes ayant fait partie de cette grande famille se sont réunies.
 
Depuis 1949, cette maison offre hébergement et soutien aux étudiantes universitaires, contribuant à leur développement personnel et académique.

A pleasant and unexpected discovery

 
 
One hundred years ago Blessed Piergiorgio Frassati wrote to a friend asking her for financial help to avoid the closure of the then Protection of the Young in Holland, while he undertook to prevent this from happening in Austria.
 
Thie letter is a truly great gift for all of us and for all the ACISJF - Protection of the Young, a gift for which we sincerely thank dearest Wanda Gawronska granddaughter of Blessed Piergiogio Frassati; it is a gift that asks all of us for a greater commitment also for the dissemination of ACISJF-Protection of Young in our Europe.
 
A great responsibility for which, in prayer, we ask for the help and support of Blessed Piergiorgio Frassati.

Two days ago I received a letter from my good friend Mr. Domanig, who is the representative of the Austrian Students in Pax Romana.

In this letter he laments about the urgent needs and misery that exist in Austria. The Union of Catholic Charity (founded by Chancellor Seipel four years ago) started the Youth Protection Association.

 

It looks like this Association will be dissolved because the necessary funds are lacking. There are many children and women workers in Vienna today without a roof over their heads, left prey to hunger and misery.

 

My friend is begging me to assist them with a collection.

 

In the spirit of Pax Romana, I thought that you would be able to do the same you did in Holland.

I know you and your kind heart, and I am certain that you will do it with joy.

 

I beg you to reply to me immediately, then I will send your address to Mr. Domanig and my friend will correspond directly with you.
